It’s Almost Time

The day that you have been waiting for is almost here. You have done all of your training and now it’s time to put all that riding to good use and enjoy yourself. Here is some last-minute information that should help you get to the Ramapo Rally, check in, and enjoy your ride.

From BTCNJ’s board members and the many volunteers that have put this event together, we wish you a fun day riding the Ramapo Rally. Enjoy, be safe, and when you see a volunteer say “Thanks”.

Arriving at Campgaw Mountain County Reservation

Plan to arrive at Campgaw at least 45 minutes before the suggested start of your ride. That will give you enough time to park, prepare your bicycle, check in at registration, pick up your cue sheet, and have breakfast. And remember, there is a post-ride lunch for riders returning before 5:00 PM.

Check-in is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on August 30, 2026.

Directions to the Ramapo Rally

Make sure to bring:

  • A copy of your registration confirmation (suggested but not mandatory).
  • A bike in proper working condition, at least one spare tube, and tools to fix a flat tire.
  • A helmet (all riders must wear a helmet – No exceptions).
  • At least 1 water bottle.
  • Smart Phone (Not mandatory but extremely useful).
  • A working rear light

Parking at Campgaw

Be careful when entering and leaving the parking area. In the morning, it will still be somewhat dark. Pay attention to the directions provided by the parking volunteers.
