Mark and Howie’s Cross-Country Adventure
This past Spring, Mark Simendinger and Howie Cohen packed their panniers and set off to pedal across these United States. And what an adventure it turned out to be!
Chased by bears, swarmed by killer bees, awakened by the sounds of a snake’s rattling tail, drenched by monsoon rains, slowed by blizzards, and scorched in the sun on never-ending treeless plains, they biked all the way from California to Boston, Massachusetts.
Well…….maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration. But only just a bit!
Come to the Membership Meeting on October 13 to hear the true story of their crossing of America, in words and pictures. Listen to their tales of survival on the ribbons of asphalt that crisscross this country of ours. Really, this will be a something you want to hear!
