Oktoberfest Membership Meeting
It’s time to break out the beer steins, pull up your lederhosen and scarf down a few brats because next month it’s Oktoberfest at the BTCNJ Membership Meeting. And guys, what better way to pedal down to the local beer garden than on a tandem with that special young frau on the back seat. In case you haven’t figured it out yet Hans, it’s the Tandem Bike presentation!
Thursday, October 9th at 7:30, BTCNJ presents the Oktoberfest Membership Meeting with Mel Kornbluh from Tandems East, a leading authority in tandem bicycles. There are more types of tandems than you can shake a wiener at and Mel will help sort out the brands and styles to give us a clearer understanding of all the options available. Mel and his wife, Barbara, started their shop in a garage over 22 years ago and are leading authorities in all thing tandems.
So you think that sounds good, well there’s more!
Just in case the local beer garden is not your thing, we’ll be giving away some valuable gift certificates to our favorite local bike club restaurants. Raffle tickets will be distributed at the door. Now you and you’re sweetie will have a destination for your ride on a tandem!
