When most of us reach a milestone in our lives, we do something special like go out for a nice dinner, see a show, or invite some people over for a party. But some of us find other ways to mark these occasions. One of these people is Steve Lorenz, member of the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey. Upon turning 60 years old and celebrating a decade of leading the congregation of the Trinity Church of Teaneck, Pastor Lorenz decided to undertake a self-supported cycling trip from Astoria, OR, to his home in Belleville, NJ.

Come on March 9 to listen to Pastor Lorenz talk about the trials and tribulations of riding solo across the United States. Come listen as he tells us about how it feels to cycle across the high peaks of the Rockies and to cross the seemingly endless treeless stretches of the Great Plains.

Refreshments for this meeting will be provided by Carol Raff. I have it on good authority that hot food will be on the menu!
