Al Bello – Sports Photographer

Do you want to improve your photographic skills? Whether working with a sophisticated digital camera or your cell phone? Well come to our next general meeting and you will pick up some valuable lessons by one of the world’s leading sports photographers.We will be back at the Ridgewood Library on Thursday, June 14th at 7pm for a Presentation by one of the most prolific sports photographers working today.
Al Bello (www.albello.com) has travelled to many countries covering events such as the Olympics, World Cup, Super Bowl, World Series, Wimbledon and just about every other major sporting event. He has also made portraits of famous athletes such as Michael Phelps, Floyd Mayweather, Tom Brady and Derek Jeter. Along the way Al Bello has won numerous honors and awards for his work. His work has been published in magazines and books worldwide. Al will show some of his remarkable photography which will prove helpful for the serious photo enthusiast as well as the casual shooter. He has many interesting anecdotes about various athletes and events.
He will be available to answer questions upon the conclusion of the presentation…. So have your questions ready.
Oh… and Al has some great cycling photography to show as well! As an added bonus we will be raffling a really nice digital camera. Members and guests welcome. Please join us for this very special presentation.
