Fee: $50 BTCNJ members only (The actual price is $60 but the club will subsidize $10 for members only, so that we can offer the course for $50).
Be prepared to step in and save a life by learning (or refreshing) CPR and First Aid skills in a group session with other BTCNJ members.
Volunteers from the Elmwood Park Volunteer Ambulance Corp, the same good folks who have supported the Ramapo Rally for years, are offering a one-day class for BTCNJ members.
Skills are taught using the American Heart Association’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows instructors to observe students, provide feedback and guide students’ acquisition of skills.
This format is ideal for learners who prefer group interaction and feedback from an Instructor while learning skills. (And we know how much BCTNJers love group interaction!)
Class size is limited to 20.
